SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, all classes 
of feeder cattle were unevenly steady.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-150.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00-140.00.  Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 132.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-
133.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 123.00-136.00, 
500-600 lbs 114.00-127.00.  Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 38.00-45.00; Boners 80-85% lean 43.00-54.00; Lean 
85-90% lean 40.00-46.00; Lean low dressing 33.00-38.00. Slaughter bulls 
were steady. Slaughter Bulls: 1150-2040 lbs 60.00-77.00. 
   Goats: [354]  Week Ago: [402].  Reported Monday to Wednesday. 
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 20.00-50.00, 20-40 lbs 20.00-
75.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-150.00, 60-80 lbs 80.00-185.00; Sel 2 20-40 lbs 
80.00-110.00.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 165.00-205.00, 100-
150 lbs 280.00-290.00, 150-250 lbs one @ 375.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-
70 lbs 70.00-145.00, 70-100 lbs 120.00-175.00; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 55.00-
120.00, 70-100 lbs 100.00-130.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 75.00-
165.00, 100-150 lbs 130.00-210.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 125.00-145.00. 
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 3 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 3.69-
3.98, processor bids 3.90-4.42.  Soybeans were 7 to 8 cents higher; 
elevator bids 8.16-8.25, processor bid 8.77, export bid 8.77.  New Crop 
wheat was 3 to 33 cents lower; elevator bids 4.86-5.26.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.92 
lower at 77.09.
